Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliance with software configuration standards
- Design and implement build procedures, and develop automation tools to enhance software modeling and development
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Expertise in source control systems and CI/CD tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
