Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliance with software quality standards
- Develop and maintain configuration management tools and automate productivity processes using programming and scripting languages
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, source control systems, and automation scripting languages
- Experience managing commercial-off-the-shelf software and understanding of build reproducibility and dependency management
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
