Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in leading complex software builds and releases within regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
