Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for configuration identification and control
- Design, develop, and automate productivity tools to enhance software modeling and development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
