Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and spearhead cloud migration, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to cloud-based solutions
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Train software developers on CM tools and ensure compliance with software quality standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
