Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration for VA applications, and ensure compliant build processes in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and COTS software products
- Perform release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance of new software product parameters
- Train software developers on CM tools and software quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, including Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
