Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Train software developers on CM tools and implement software quality standards across projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise with source control systems and CI/CD tools
- Experience in scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
