Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and facilitate cloud migration, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform CM and release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Train software developers in CM tools and best practices, while leading junior analysts in configuration management tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises or federal environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, including Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Knowledge of software quality standards and governance frameworks
