Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform release engineering tasks and ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers in configuration management tools and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years with a suitable education substitution
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
