Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant software build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards for both internal and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance with software product parameters
- Provide technical guidance, train junior analysts, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices in software development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
