Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant software build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery and control
- Design and implement build procedures and standards for software product development
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
