Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software
- Train software developers on CM tools and implement software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years with education substitution
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
