Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will manage software configuration tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and COTS products
- Perform release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance with software product parameters
- Train software developers in CM tools and implement software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
