Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will manage software configuration tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliant build processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks for software products
- Train software developers on CM tools and software quality standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Deep expertise with CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
