Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in software configuration management, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will support VA applications and lead cloud migration efforts while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery and compliance
- Design and implement build procedures and automation tools to enhance software development processes
- Train software developers on CM tools and best practices, ensuring adherence to software quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
