Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time remote Senior Configuration Engineer will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for software products
- Design and implement build procedures to support software product development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation
- Deep expertise in source control systems and branching/merging strategies
