Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in software configuration management, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will support VA applications, lead cloud migration efforts, and develop software configuration tools while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for internal and COTS software products
- Lead and train junior analysts/engineers in configuration management best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record of leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
