Senior Configuration Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Engineer will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for configuration identification and control
- Design and implement build procedures to support software product development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep expertise with CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
