Senior Configuration Management Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing aerospace and defense organization, the full-time Senior Configuration Management Specialist will independently execute and coordinate configuration management across assigned programs, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and industry requirements, while working onsite in Fort Walton Beach, Dallas-Fort Worth, or San Luis Obispo.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day configuration management execution for assigned programs and projects
• Develop and maintain program configuration management plans, procedures, and lifecycle records
• Support and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and ensure implementation of approved changes across documentation and systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, information management, business, or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant configuration management experience
• Hands-on experience in configuration identification, change control, and baseline management
• Experience supporting complex hardware, software, or integrated product development in regulated environments
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and product lifecycle records
• Ability to evaluate change packages for cross-functional impact
