Senior Construction Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications network infrastructure projects, the full-time remote Senior Construction Engineer will oversee project estimating, design, engineering, scheduling, and operational handoff while managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Defines and reviews comprehensive plans for large, complex telecommunications projects, including resource requirements, project costs, and risk assessment
• Effectively leads cross-functional teams in project planning and execution, establishing clear accountabilities for outside vendors
• Drives timely project completion by prioritizing workloads and maintaining flexibility in meeting internal schedules

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant job experience in telecommunications or civil engineering
• Knowledge of OSP Engineering standards and practices, including Outside Plant construction methods
• Experience in the full life cycle of OSP and/or Civil Projects, including estimating, engineering, and construction
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and mapping programs
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage strategic customer relationships effectively
