Senior Consultant DFIR

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Digital Forensics and Incident Response team, the full-time Senior Consultant, DFIR will represent the company as a technical and consulting resource for clients, conducting forensic analysis and incident response while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to client-facing incident response engagements, guiding clients through the incident response lifecycle from detection to recovery
• Conduct advanced forensic analysis to identify the scope and impact of security incidents, including malware analysis and reverse engineering
• Provide mentorship to less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster their professional growth

Required qualifications

• Experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, along with relevant industry certifications
• Proficiency in digital forensic tools such as ELK, Axiom, Encase, and FTK
• Professional experience with network analysis and intrusion detection tools
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Ability to provide after-hours support as required for critical incidents
