Senior Content Strategist
Job Summary
To support government clients in enhancing their digital presence, the contract Senior Content Strategist will lead content strategy engagements, design information architecture, and facilitate workshops while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead content strategy engagements from discovery through launch, including audits and stakeholder interviews
- Design information architecture and build content models for custom WordPress installations
- Write and enforce editorial guidelines that comply with accessibility standards and facilitate training sessions for client teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy or a closely related discipline
- Experience running full content audits and building information architecture for complex websites
- Working knowledge of WordPress content structures and custom post types
- Experience writing in plain language for a general public audience
- Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements
