Senior Content Strategist

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of content strategy for a secure web and mobile application, the remote Senior Content Strategist will shape content governance, structure, and delivery for the United States Space Force, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and accessible content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document the overarching content strategy for the USSF platform, including voice/tone, structure, and delivery standards
• Work with developers to architect scalable, reusable content structures using headless CMS tools
• Establish editorial standards and publishing workflows to ensure consistency and compliance across distributed authors

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, or content design for digital platforms
• Strong background in working with CMS tools, preferably headless platforms like Directus
• Experience creating and maintaining editorial standards and governance frameworks
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional product teams in Agile environments
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards and user-centered content practices
