Senior Contract Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Senior Contract Specialist will provide senior-level acquisition support across the federal acquisition lifecycle, including requirements development, solicitation, award, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pre-award and post-award acquisition support for complex federal procurements
- Develop, review, and refine acquisition plans, solicitation packages, and procurement documentation
- Advise Contracting Officers and stakeholders on acquisition strategy and contract administration matters
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of recent relevant experience in federal acquisition support
- Demonstrated experience with pre-award and post-award federal acquisition activities
- Extensive knowledge of the FAR, VAAR, and federal acquisition policies
- Experience developing and reviewing acquisition plans and procurement packages
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior acquisition professionals
