Senior Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for developing provider networks, the full-time Senior Contracting Specialist will negotiate complex contracts, manage recruitment efforts for network adequacy, and collaborate with finance and analytics teams to optimize reimbursement strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate complex managed care contracts, including value-based and risk agreements, to secure optimal reimbursement
• Lead the implementation process for contracts, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness within provider maintenance systems
• Analyze network adequacy and determine recruitment needs to meet accreditation standards and strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, healthcare administration, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in contracting or network development within healthcare or insurance settings
• Experience in provider contracting and negotiating complex fee schedules
• Knowledge of managed care concepts and billing information systems
• Preferred experience in value-based, gain share, or risk contracting
