Senior Contracts Manager

Job Summary

Managing inbound brand and content licensing agreements, the Senior Contracts Manager will work on a hybrid schedule in New York City, focusing on drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts and amendments for the Children's and Trade publishing groups.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manages the full lifecycle of brand and content licensing agreements, including drafting and negotiating contracts
• Collaborates with various departments to ensure timely contract execution and effective administration
• Tracks contract status, obligations, and deadlines while maintaining accurate records in contract-management systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Four or more years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, particularly with brand licensing agreements
• Working knowledge of intellectual property concepts and licensing practices
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively
