Senior Contracts Manager

Job Summary

Managing inbound brand and content licensing agreements, the remote Senior Contracts Manager will draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts while collaborating with various departments to ensure effective administration and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manages and finalizes inbound brand and content licensing agreements from request through execution
• Prepares, drafts, and negotiates other publishing agreements, including author and illustrator contracts
• Partners with Editorial and other departments to support timely contract execution and identifies material risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Four or more years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, particularly in brand licensing agreements
• Working knowledge of intellectual property concepts, contract terminology, and licensing practices
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively
