Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics

Job Summary

Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will provide guidance on obligations under professional conduct rules, manage conflicts of interest, and support the firm's ethics program, all while working remotely from any U.S. state where the firm has an office.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, including handling sensitive issues and coordinating with senior leadership
• Conduct conflicts analysis for new business intake and lateral hiring, advising on resolution strategies and drafting necessary communications
• Identify and escalate ethics-related risks, monitor developments in ethics rules, and contribute to the development of firm policies and training

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, particularly in attorney ethics, professional responsibility, and conflicts of interest
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex conflicts and provide practical guidance
• Experience advising on sensitive issues requiring professional judgment and discretion
• Strong organizational skills and effective collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams
