Job Summary

Providing senior-level legal counsel and transactional support, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel, NJ Licensed will manage complex business development transactions, including licensing and mergers, while collaborating closely with senior leaders and mentoring less experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of business development and corporate development transactions
• Define diligence scope and issue-escalation paths for legal due diligence on assigned transactions
• Coordinate antitrust and regulatory strategy for transactions, advising on escalation points

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree and admission to a state bar
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in the biopharmaceutical/life sciences industry
• Strong working knowledge of deal structures and the regulatory environment in the biopharmaceutical sector
• Proven track record as lead counsel on high-value licensing, collaboration, and M&A transactions
• Sound independent judgment on significant legal and business issues
