Senior Corporate Counsel, Public Sector
Job Summary
To support a growing public sector legal function, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel, Public Sector will provide strategic guidance on public sector contracts, draft and negotiate agreements, and ensure compliance with government regulations while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and counsel on public sector contracts and regulatory requirements
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including sales contracts with government entities
- Identify and drive compliance with applicable government contracting requirements
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 6+ years of legal experience with a focus on general commercial and public sector contracting
- Experience with K-12 and higher education sectors is a plus
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting fundamentals
- Experience negotiating technology-related commercial agreements
