Senior Corporate Counsel, Texas
Job Summary
To support innovative product development, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel, Texas will advise cross-functional teams on legal risks, compliance with privacy laws, and the negotiation of commercial agreements in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a primary legal partner for technical and non-technical teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct assessments of legal risks and ensure compliance with US and global privacy regulations
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements to facilitate product launches and protect corporate interests
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 8+ years of legal experience, particularly in-house supporting SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS product development
- Experience counseling AI product and engineering teams across the product development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of US and global privacy regulations, intellectual property, and data security
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
