Senior Cost Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Cost Manager will act as the key client interface, managing cost planning, estimating, and negotiations throughout the construction lifecycle while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders and preparing detailed cost plans and budgets
• Managing cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances while ensuring compliance with client financial policies
• Leading cost management efforts on medium to large-sized construction projects and mentoring team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred
• Experience leading cost management on medium to high complexity construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
