Senior Cost Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing real estate practice, the full-time Senior Cost Manager will act as the key client interface, managing cost estimation, change orders, and financial reporting while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects
• Managing cost checks, valuations, and the reconciliation of changes with contractors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
