Job Summary
To support the energy sector, the full-time Senior Cost Manager - Texas will manage client relationships, oversee cost planning and reporting, and ensure effective change management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate change orders and manage cost checks throughout the construction lifecycle
- Prepare and present cost plans, ensuring accurate data reconciliation with contractors
- Lead cost management efforts on medium to large construction projects, driving fair contract negotiations and post-contract cost variance management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the energy industry
- RICS accreditation or working towards it is preferred
- Experience in leading cost management on medium to large construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
