Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Negotiating complex SaaS and cloud infrastructure agreements, the remote Senior Counsel will manage legal support for enterprise-level cloud negotiations, partner with cross-functional teams, and counsel on data security and compliance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate a high volume of complex commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Lead legal support for cloud negotiations, advising on pricing, service levels, and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to operationalize commercial agreements and support strategic decision-making

Required qualifications

• JD with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a legal environment, focusing on SaaS and cloud services
• At least 2 years of in-house experience at a technology company preferred
• Deep experience negotiating technology supplier agreements and advising on data privacy and security
• Strong understanding of cloud computing business models and contracting structures
• Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance for business teams
