Job Summary

Leading commercial dealmaking and government contracting, the full-time Senior Counsel, Commercial Law will draft and negotiate agreements for quantum computing sales and federal contracts while building and refining legal processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements for quantum system sales, cloud access, and supplier contracts
• Serve as lead counsel on federal contracts and advise on compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency requirements
• Create and refine contract templates and train teams on contracting and government compliance

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including in-house legal experience
• Strong track record negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably in hardware or deep-tech sectors
• Hands-on experience with federal government contracts, including FAR/DFARS and subcontracting
• A builder's mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
