Senior Counsel - Data Center

Job Summary

To support the Global Data Centers team, the full-time Senior Counsel - Data Center will manage acquisitions, development projects, and infrastructure transactions, negotiating key agreements and advising on legal issues in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute data center acquisitions and digital infrastructure transactions, including diligence, negotiation, and closing
• Negotiate colocation agreements, powered-shell and build-to-suit leases, and connectivity contracts
• Advise on post-acquisition matters, including construction, design, and supply chain transactions

Required qualifications

• At least six years of direct legal experience with data center providers or hyperscalers on infrastructure transactions
• Fluency in technical terms related to compute infrastructure, hardware specifications, and data center operations
• Experience negotiating real estate or physical infrastructure agreements
• Experience with transaction diligence and regulatory issues related to data center projects
• J.D. and active bar admission required; a mix of law firm and in-house experience is preferred
