Senior Counsel for Healthcare Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing legal department, the remote Senior Counsel for Healthcare Compliance will manage legal and regulatory guidance, commercial strategy and contracting, and risk identification while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advisor on corporate, healthcare regulatory, litigation, commercial, product, employment, and privacy matters
• Oversee contract development and negotiation, providing legal guidance related to Medicaid, Medicare, and product development
• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, identifying legal risks and developing compliant solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare legal experience with exposure to federal programs like Medicare and Medicaid
• 3+ years of legal experience at a digital health company or managed care organization
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
• Deep knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment and its application to technology products
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly
