Senior Counsel - Licensed Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Senior Counsel - Licensed Attorney will manage commercial transactions, provide strategic legal advice on technology and compliance matters, and drive risk management initiatives while working remotely from any location in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, licensing, and partnership agreements
• Advise executive leadership on legal issues related to emerging technologies, data governance, and risk assessment
• Identify legal risks and develop scalable legal processes while managing outside counsel relationships as needed

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8+ years of commercial legal experience, preferably with both law firm and in-house experience
• Strong expertise in commercial contracting, technology transactions, and data privacy
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
