Job Summary
Serving as a primary legal advisor on privacy and security matters, the full-time Senior Counsel, Privacy & Security will lead complex customer and vendor negotiations, develop legal documentation, and create internal policies, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead negotiations involving privacy, data protection, and information security terms for customer and vendor contracts
- Create and maintain standardized agreements and public-facing privacy documentation
- Develop internal policies and negotiation playbooks to ensure consistent legal decision-making
Required qualifications
- A qualified attorney with at least seven years of in-house counsel experience, preferably in the technology sector
- Substantial experience negotiating privacy and data protection terms in enterprise software transactions
- Deep knowledge of global privacy laws, information security frameworks, and emerging AI regulations
- Successful completion of IAPP certifications (CIPP, CIPM, AIGP) preferred
- Demonstrated experience in drafting contract templates and maintaining public-facing privacy documentation
