Senior Credit Manager

Job Summary

Owning the underwriting operating model for Engine's corporate card, the full-time Senior Credit Manager will manage the credit team, establish underwriting standards, and drive automation in decision-making while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Hold the credit team accountable to underwriting standards and review portfolio performance
• Write and own the credit underwriting standard, including exception treatment and escalation paths
• Build backtest infrastructure to analyze proposed rule changes against historical application data

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of credit underwriting or credit risk experience
• 3+ years of experience leading a credit team with a focus on designing operating models
• Deep expertise in commercial credit underwriting and setting credit limits
• Hands-on experience with commercial credit bureaus and KYB processes
• Proven capability in portfolio analytics and reporting metrics like delinquency and limit utilization
