Senior Credit Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Credit Department, the full-time Senior Credit Specialist will underwrite flexible funding requests, evaluate non-traditional financial metrics, and manage portfolio health in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial credit applications using financial statement analysis and high-frequency transaction data
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk Operations to inform product development and shape underwriting logic
• Monitor portfolio performance and perform ongoing collateral monitoring to mitigate risks

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial credit underwriting experience at a fintech company, with a focus on revenue-based financing or short-term working capital products
• Strong core credit fundamentals, including financial statement analysis and cash-flow modeling
• Proven experience analyzing high-frequency data and transactional cash flows
• Familiarity with inventory-based sales cycles and CPG business models is preferred
• 1+ years of experience using Generative AI tools in a professional setting
