Senior Credit Specialist - IN
Job Summary
To support strategic credit initiatives, the full-time Senior Credit Products Specialist - Private Banking will manage complex commercial credit relationships, structure and negotiate credit agreements, and provide mentorship to junior credit professionals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the structuring, analysis, and approval of complex credit transactions while balancing risk and business needs
- Proactively monitor portfolio risk and identify industry trends impacting credit quality
- Engage with clients and senior leadership to provide expertise in credit negotiations and deal execution
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA or CFA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Deep expertise in structuring and negotiating complex credit agreements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence credit strategy and policy
- In-depth understanding of macroeconomic factors affecting credit risk
