Senior Cyber Defense Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Cyber Defense Analyst will manage incident response activities, conduct real-time analysis of security events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Cyber Defense Center operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify issues in customer Cyber Defense Centers and implement strategies for improvement
• Conduct real-time analysis using SIEM and endpoint technologies to detect security events
• Advise on CDC, CSIRT, and SOC management activities to enhance incident response capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including SOC analysis and threat hunting
• Experience with SIEM query languages such as SPL, KQL, or YARA-L
• Proven experience leading incident response activities
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework for threat detection
