Job Summary
To enhance Cyber Defense Centers, the full-time Senior Cyber Defense Consultant will identify challenges, advise on technologies, and create SOAR playbooks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify challenges in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate strategies for improvement and automation
- Advise on technologies used by client Cyber Defense Centers, CSIRT, and Security Operations Centers
- Create and modify SOAR playbooks using Python and mentor junior engineers in program development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- 5 years of experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies
- 3 years of experience working with Security Operations Center (SOC) or incident response teams
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
