Senior Cyber Investigator

Job Summary

Taking ownership of complex cyber abuse cases, the full-time Senior Cyber Investigator will work remotely to analyze high-severity escalations, mentor junior investigators, and deliver precise intelligence briefs while supporting AI safety operations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex abuse cases and appeals across priority threat areas, including ransomware and malware authoring
• Analyze threat actor campaigns and profile tradecraft using telemetry and external intelligence
• Mentor Junior Investigators and maintain rigorous labeling standards through case review and feedback

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, incident response, or digital investigations
• Strong knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and modern malware delivery techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for analyzing data and identifying anomalous behavior
• Experience in conducting peer reviews or mentoring in a security operations environment
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States, with a preference for Texas residency
