Job Summary
Focusing on the micro-segmentation program, the full-time Senior Cyber Security Engineer will analyze application and infrastructure traffic flows, design and implement security policies, and refine enforcement rules while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze application and infrastructure traffic flows to identify communication patterns and security requirements
- Design, document, implement, and maintain micro-segmentation policies across the enterprise environment
- Collaborate with application owners and infrastructure teams to validate and document application communication requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Security Engineering in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with firewall technologies and analyzing TCP/IP communications
- 5+ years of experience implementing micro-segmentation using platforms like Illumio or comparable solutions
- Experience in reviewing and remediating legacy firewall rules and overly permissive access
