Senior Cyber Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Security Operations Center (SOC), the full-time Senior Cyber Security Manager will oversee cyber defense capabilities, incident response, and operational excellence while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily SOC operations, including alert triage, investigations, and incident response, while ensuring sustainable coverage
• Develop and mature incident response procedures and coordinate high-severity incident responses across various departments
• Establish and report on cybersecurity operational metrics, performance dashboards, and enhance detection engineering and threat-hunting programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience and 5 years of leadership experience in Security Operations and Incident Response
• Proven experience in building SOC capabilities and developing cybersecurity operational metrics
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and automated or AI-assisted response capabilities
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIH, and cloud security certifications such as Azure Security Engineer
