Senior Cyber Underwriter
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Cyber Underwriter will underwrite complex Cyber, Tech E&O, and Media accounts, manage broker relationships, mentor junior underwriters, and collaborate with colleagues in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Meet profitability, retention, and written premium goals for an assigned portfolio of complex accounts
- Exercise independent underwriting judgment and maintain proper file documentation
- Lead and mentor junior underwriters while collaborating to achieve organizational goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- 5+ years of insurance underwriting experience, focusing on Cyber, Tech E&O, or Media
- Advanced knowledge of Cyber insurance
- Established network of broker and client contacts in the Chicago Metro area
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development and inclusivity
