Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to work remotely, this role focuses on advanced security investigations, threat hunting, and digital forensics while mentoring junior analysts and enhancing security monitoring capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex cybersecurity investigations across various environments, analyzing security telemetry to determine attack vectors and incident timelines
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and gather intelligence on emerging threats, while performing digital forensic analysis in support of investigations
• Develop and tune security detections, correlation rules, and monitoring logic, while mentoring other analysts in incident response and security technologies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, incident response, digital forensics, or threat detection
• Strong experience analyzing network and security logs, and investigating complex cybersecurity incidents
• Experience with email security, DLP investigations, and cloud or SaaS security
• Working knowledge of digital forensic principles and cybersecurity controls, including frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
